3. I seem to remember reading that the new assumption is that phones all have spell-checkers.

Just checked on my desktop and it says that I somehow chose or defaulted to "check spelling as I type"
Little squiggles under words it doesn't grasp.

Could be wrong. My memory has its limits ( 640K? )
