He decided to capitalize on the popularity of the idea of the all-woman Ghostbuster sequel, to launch a "more conventional" threequel, that is, an all-man one. He then wants to saturate the franchise with shitty spin-off films to make sure that the all-woman Ghostbusters will be pushed to the side. Barf!
