Today the Battle of the Bulge begins in 1944 in the Ardennes forests on Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Nazi Germany. The Nazi High Command in an attempt to force the Allies into a favorable peace treaty for them attacked, it was a total surprise to the Allies.
