6. Turkey Noodle Soup

Using the two turkey legs from the freezer (leftover from Thanksgiving) and one bone-in chicken thigh leftover from last night. I’ve been eating too heavily this week and need something a little lighter. It’s on the stove now, will be ready in about an hour. Don’t have any egg noodles, so will boil up some penne for the noodle part.

Thinking about baking later… don’t know what, yet. Maybe a very small batch of chewy oatmeal cinnamon cookies? Still more or less snowed in so using up butter and sugar on cookies might not be the best idea right now… but my sweet tooth will probably win.
