In the current discussion, the question is why people are blind to Israel's terrorism, so we can exclude literature and media from before Israeli statehood. Not because Jews weren't persecuted; they absolutely have been--for centuries, even today. But Israel's crimes against humanity can't diminished by invoking Shylock from 400 years ago.

Now that I think of it, Watto in The Phantom Menace was criticized alternately as a stereotype of Jews and of Arabs, so there's that.

I'd also agree that Munich isn't a great example of Israelis as villains, not least because I have a hard time faulting them.

I appreciate the list that you provided. I guess the corresponding question should be "how often are Muslims portrayed as terrorists in film and television?"
