I haven’t seen any comments on this forum suggesting that nuclear energy be completely banned or claiming that only the exclusive use of renewable energy can save us. That could be labeled as extreme, but the full no-nukes movement is over and all that remains is the usual, run-of-the-mill NIMBY stuff that “windmills” have to contend with as well.

On the other hand, I do see plenty of comments here suggesting Only Nuclear Energy can Save Us. All that’s missing is a “Hallelujah!” from the Atomic Priests who call on us to obey the Holy Laws of Thermodynamics (energy storage is strictly verboten!) while simply rejecting the economic reality that is the actual source of their nuclear woes.

Extreme Nukist Nukism seems much more cult-like than anything coming from imaginary “anti-nukes”.
It’s good for laughs, though.
