If you want to do the math, count up the world's reserves of solar and wind energy. It's a pretty big number.

Nuclear bros just slay me. They can go ahead and wallow in pessimistic and petty tech-bigotry. They can worship at the altar of the Nuclear Fuel. Tilt at windmills. But that's not a cult out there developing renewable energy; it's some pretty big companies and governments. It's China, UK, Japan, France (yep, France), Korea, etc. etc. etc. etc. It's engineers and market analysts, helping policymakers reach climate goals. If the Nuclear Brothers want to remain in denial they can go ahead. It might be more comfortable in the US, a remaining bastion of climate denial, where they can align with Trump in his war on renewables, and his embrace of nuclear energy. Strange Bedfellows? Just a coincidence? Is it impolite to ask, "Whose side are they on"?
