20. I remember in the '70's and '80's

wives would go out to the barn and find their husbands had hung themselves etc. Life insurance to try to leave their wives with something to live on after the farm got foreclosed. Some because of a sense of having failed the family generations before them.

I come from this background and know how deep and dire these circumstances are.
