For the correction, I couldn't remember exactly which state it was.

Perhaps someone forgot to push a button ar click on verification on the programming computer and when you sent the email they were alerted to the problem. I used to have to send email to the NPR station in Idaho several times a year because someone didn't double check before leaving the programming site.

When I was in broadcasting, in college, I used to close the place down and had to make sure the program schedule automation was turned on before I left or I would get a call around 5am asking where the news was. I never got one of those calls but I know the college up the road had a regular issue with that.
