(2,600 posts)Deb, I know that its going to be hard waiting for the biopsy and your mind will go to some really scary places. I have to think that your doctor would have expedited the biopsy if they were seriously concerned. I was told in my twenties that I had a breast mole that had all the signs of cancer and was given a biopsy that same day. Turned out to be nothing.
Youre still coping with your husbands advanced PC, but by now you know that even stage 4 PC is manageable if not curable. I used to completely freak out waiting for the results of my husbands every three months tests, especially if the results were late. After six years, Ive learned to calm down and anticipate good results.
Its completely normal to be nervous at this point, but it helps to find enjoyable distractions that take your mind off of things until you have some definitive answers. Maybe indulge in some things or activities that you normally wouldnt. I wish you the best and please keep us informed.
