6. I went on a diet I never planned on......

My breakfast this morning; along with my 1-2 cups of coffee I have 1/4 cup of Honey Roasted Oats cereal with sliced 1/2 banana, some cut up apple and blueberries. Way different from my breakfast a year ago, pastries, eggs, bacon, frozen waffles etc. Not all at the same time, but those were my selections.

I got a mild case of covid last summer. Almost immediately I lost my sense of taste and my appetite for about 6 months. While my sense of taste slowly returned my appetite is almost non existent. I do get hungry, but I can go almost all day without eating after I have my cereal. I might have a snack in the afternoon and my dinner is half of what it was before I got covid. When I go out say to Long Horns, I'll order a steak and will always have at least half the meal to take home home. I'll have a second dinner with what I bring home and sometimes a 3rd.

I'm thrilled I actually lost the 20 lbs I've wanted to lose for the past 30 years. But I was concerned about the lack of appetite and the unplanned weight loss. My doctor said no worries.
