My "Baby Girl" was with me for 17 years. She passed in 2024.
Found as an abandon kitten in my driveway. She was joy in my life. Took me a year to get over her passing. But she is always with me even though I adopted two 5 year olds last year.
Peace be with you and know Scoutie will always be with you.
