The Girl Can't Help It - a fun B-movie from the early rock days w/Jayne Mansfield [View all]

and some other musical acts of the era. One of the first movies of its kind, it has a cheesy plot and lots of good humour. Music features Julie London (Cry Me A River) and Little Richard among others.

Historical note - this flick was hugely influential in the development of a British band that became
the Beatles, as they were quite enamored of the Eddie Cochran song 20 Flight Rock

Jayne looks fine and her acting can be described as good natured. She was a multi talented highly intelligent woman who played the dumb blonde with gusto.
