Key 2026 Pi Day Facts:

Significance: Pi represents the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, a constant roughly equal to 3.14159.

History: Founded in 1988 by Larry Shaw at San Francisco’s Exploratorium, it is also Albert Einstein’s birthday.

Celebration: Celebrated with mathematical activities and, frequently, eating "pie".
