What you have described as to what unfolded is a statement about her marriage. Maybe this event will be a wake up call.

Also...Please reassure your daughter that there is a day after. My cousin lost her home and most everything in it in a hurricane. It is a painful journey, but there will be a day when your daughter has a new home.
