Since 2005, the U.S. has decreased it's imports of foreign oil. In 2025, the U.S. imported only 1/3rd of its' oil. Of that 1/3rd, 60% comes from Canada and 7% from Mexico. So our usage of foreign oil, with middle east and Russian oil in particular, is minimal. So why are prices rising in the U.S? And what's with the urgent need to help Putin?
