states should take care of their own problems going forward for the next 4 years. By the time the
2028 election rolls around R voters will be tired of an R Government who refuses to help R
communities in need of help after a natural disaster.
Maybe they'll wake up and start voting D.

Hard for a State to do that if the States infrastructure is seriously damaged though because of the disaster.
