3. Glad for the hostages and families but the killing will continue just like in Lebanon. Both sides will bleed more.

Maybe at slightly lower intensity, but dying and no real security none the less. A very tragic situation. In most cases I don't support the notion of US disengagement in international matters. In the Middle East I almost wonder if we just backed out and away-- $$, military and middle man diplomacy-- could it cause enough of a shock that they may actually get serious and stop killing each other long enough to realize seriously sitting down and negotiating in good faith is their only hope, I almost feel like we are a well meaning family member that enables the alcoholics in the family to continue drinking.
