Singer's Ghost Fleet - A Novel of the Next World War (2015 Harper Collins) lays out this capability, from how China will wage war from its total mapping of the U.S. Pentagon above and below ground; along with its satellites disguised as comms satellites in order to shut down all U.S. satellites above, and so GPS systems on land & sea; along with rail guns to wipe out our blinded naval fleets and nuclear submarines, with a simultaneous shutdown of our 3 electrical grids.
This reported "find" doesn't even supply comment from our national security team.
But it's a big deal that points to China's long term and larger stealth strategy. We need to keep an eye out on any news about China's satellite and cyberforce systems and any more of China's 'found' weapons. Under trump our media will fail/refuse to make any effort to keep the public informed. China will distract our miltaries' focus toward their land & sea weapons and arms-control negotiations, when we should be looking up.
An abundance of caution is not paranoid but warranted, since China's pattern is to make sure that by the time we find out what they're doing, it's usually too late.
