that his denial that you are in such a situation is disrespectful to both you and the flag. Get loud about how you are experiencing "extreme danger to life and property" as outlined in 4 USC 8(a), and he's an asshole for trying to scold someone instead of attempting to render aid.

When dipshits don't mind their own business, put them on their backfoot.
