IRS Tax Filing Is Working Today [View all]

Just got my confirmation from TurboTax that the filing I just finished around Noon has arrived at the IRS and has been accepted. I was a little concerned because I never file on April 15. I guess their computers are on and working today, though.

So, if you're worried about a last minute filing, it looks like they're there and processing filings OK.

My strategy was to file and extension. MineralMan Wednesday #3

I filed an extension this morning. IRS accepted it this afternoon. JustABozoOnThisBus Wednesday #7

I e-filed yesterday. No problem. Sogo Wednesday #4

Right. It's the not paying with the extension that causes the penalty. MineralMan Wednesday #6

To Add: I was surprised this year that TurboTax doesn't support Windows 10 any longer. MineralMan Wednesday #5
