5. My father was Hungarian and he, my mom,

.and sister escaped end of WII and came to the States after a year waiting in London.
I spoke Hungarian until I was 4-5 yo or so.

I think often how grateful I am my parents didn’t live to see what happened to this country they fought so hard to come to. But now, I wish they could see today in Hungary, with blinders so still not to see the USA !
