31. It was a majority, but not nearly everyone

I thought Connor Lamb was good, but many thought he was too moderate. There were some Fetterman stories that bothered me, but I could see many here were impressed by him and his wife. However, I did not live in PA - nor did most of PA.

I was surprised that he polled (later confirmed by actual voting) so well. PA chose him. You could blame the Sanders endorsement or the money from progressives around the country, but it came down to votes in PA.

Fetterman suffered his stroke 2 days before the primary. At that point, he did not disclose much before the primary. This was tricky as it was entirely possible he could have recovered completely in a few weeks. To drop out would have meant losing everything he and others worked for unnecessarily.
