13. Even if they did.....then what? For someone not wanting to do "regime change", what is your next magical step?

You take out Maduro and leave the rest of the political thugs and cartels basically in place. And, yes, they scrap and fight but Venezuela and the world is not really better for it. May even end up worse. Same will be true for Iran. The UN isn't going in to set up fair and good governance so those that remain in the rubble, the good and the bad, struggle forward to something new. Given the "bad" have the guns and whatever is left of some semblance of organization, what are the chances of things being better for anyone? Sure, in the immediate future Israel and some Arab neighbors are less threatened but that is not likely to hold if all we do is set up IRGC 2.0 as the surviving de facto leadership.
