Tai Chi chair [View all]

Are you getting bombarded with pitches for "Tai Chi chair?"

I confess that a few months ago I did a few searches online for some Tai Chi classes/instruction where I live. Unfortunately, there is nothing in this area. No one. Martial arts? Sure. Yoga classes? No problem. But instruction in some Tai Chi? Sorry, pal. But, as you may expect, after you do a search like that, suddenly you get all kinds of pitches for what you were searching for in your social media feed. (I confess, I'm talking Facebook here).

Every day I get 5-10 pitches for "Tai Chi chair." Get toned and drop 10% of your body weight? By exercising in a chair? Sounds great, right? Invariably it takes 5-10 minutes just to go thru all their screens to get your "personalized plan," (while forking over a bit of personal data in the process.)

And then you discover the pricing.

Don't want to get too long-winded here, but has anyone here on DU tried Tai Chi chair? If so, how did it work out?

My SCAM ALERT is ringing.

(ok, maybe this isn't the best forum for this?)
