(8,412 posts)44. This will be another
dumb miscalculation by the Democratic establishment. Thankfully, Shumer's shenanigans in Maine are backfiring in spectacular fashion as Pastner is surely going to waltz all over the old, tired, bored and complicit Mills before he takes the US Senate in Maine from a most concerned Senator, much to Chucks chagrin.
Crockett is great, but she's not gonna win in Texas. Talarico is literally the only chance the Democrats have. And also he comes from a "religious left" perspective. It is an absolute imperative the Democrats get someone like this into the Senate who can challenge the narrative being pushed by the theocratic right.
If Talarico gets it he wins, if Crockett gets it she loses (NOT because she isn't good). I'll bookmark this post.

There very well could be more unafilliated voters voting in the Democratic primary than the Republican primary

The poll sampled 369 voters. Who were they? Texas has more than five million Democratic voters.

Sure. Don't know how much difference it made, but makes the race more interesting.
