They live in Bastrop and are sick of Kirk and Elon Musk, who barged in there and took over, very similar to what Musk did in S Texas.

I admit I am a bit confused as to why the right has lionized Kirk so much. Minimal investigation of Kirk’s actual words reveal some horrible stuff. Do they really, REALLY want to elevate this racist/bigot to martyr status? Is he the best you got??
