to actually make the movie. Well, that says a lot right there about the rest of the film*. This wasn't about making money though, remember. Just a Bezos "feeding the grift machine" move.

*I say this realizing that a number of great** movies were made on far less of a budget. Clerks only cost like $250k, IIRC.
