The Bureau of Prisons is under the Department of Justice. Meaning, that even if she didn't have to sign off on Maxwell's move, as the head of the DOJ she had complete authority to reverse that decision. It's clear she had no problem with Maxwell's special treatment. She also was not transferred to the same level facility (and everybody knows that). In Florida, she was in a low security prison (which in itself is an outrage - it should have been maximum security from day one). She was transferred to Texas and a minimum security prison.

She just committed blatant perury.
