Bondi, who oversees the Bureau of Prisons, tried to argue that she was not aware of the decision to move Maxwell and shift the blame then shared a stunning remark about what she hopes will happen to Maxwell.
-"I said I do not agree she should receive special treatment, she was transferred, I learned after the fact, to the same level facility, and that is a question for the Bureau of Prisons," Bondi said. "I was not involved in that at all, the same level facility, I don't know why. But you know, instead of talking about Ghislaine Maxwell, who hopefully will die in prison, hopefully will die in prison, you should be talking about Iryna Zarutska, who died on a subway. You don't talk about that."
"I have been talking about it and actually helping with these issues, but we're going to move back to you," Ross said.
"I bet we are," Bondi said.

(9,432 posts)The Bureau of Prisons is under the Department of Justice. Meaning, that even if she didn't have to sign off on Maxwell's move, as the head of the DOJ she had complete authority to reverse that decision. It's clear she had no problem with Maxwell's special treatment. She also was not transferred to the same level facility (and everybody knows that). In Florida, she was in a low security prison (which in itself is an outrage - it should have been maximum security from day one). She was transferred to Texas and a minimum security prison.
She just committed blatant perury.

(11,544 posts)since Pam said it's on him. Bring him in, and ask him straight up if he did it on his own and why, or if he was given an order.
Because nothing would be sweeter than having Pam caught lying under oath, in real time.
THIS AFTEERNOON. gloves off time.
