What I think is so sad to watch, but necessary. [View all]
So, as the names turn up in the Epstein files, all the other countries in the world are cleaning house, removing their own people from their position of public power. And even the private sector is giving them the boot.
And then you have France who raids Elon Musk's office in Paris and there is this deer in the headlights moment where all the Epstein clients most finally figure out that the carte blanche they thought they were operating under is gone. They are now like the roaches caught in the kitchen light that someone turned on when they were coming in for a late night snack.
And France is just the beginning. Poland is searching the files to see if any of their polish citizens were involved, as victims or as abusers. And once they find one, they get legal standing and probably pursue the matter through the courts.
What saddens me is that this is the kind of reaction that the United States should have had from the beginning. If we were an upright nation that believed in truth and morality, at least this one we would have gotten right. And the fact that we didn't is more evidence that we are a country that has relied on delusion to form a National consciousness, which has not lasted the test of time.
The only thing I'm sure of, is that if there is a hope for tomorrow, our side must prevail, because their side has the vulnerability of hate and prejudices that will walk them right into supporting candidates with grifter and pedophile tendencies.
