What I think is so sad to watch, but necessary.

So, as the names turn up in the Epstein files, all the other countries in the world are cleaning house, removing their own people from their position of public power. And even the private sector is giving them the boot.

And then you have France who raids Elon Musk's office in Paris and there is this deer in the headlights moment where all the Epstein clients most finally figure out that the carte blanche they thought they were operating under is gone. They are now like the roaches caught in the kitchen light that someone turned on when they were coming in for a late night snack.

And France is just the beginning. Poland is searching the files to see if any of their polish citizens were involved, as victims or as abusers. And once they find one, they get legal standing and probably pursue the matter through the courts.

What saddens me is that this is the kind of reaction that the United States should have had from the beginning. If we were an upright nation that believed in truth and morality, at least this one we would have gotten right. And the fact that we didn't is more evidence that we are a country that has relied on delusion to form a National consciousness, which has not lasted the test of time.

The only thing I'm sure of, is that if there is a hope for tomorrow, our side must prevail, because their side has the vulnerability of hate and prejudices that will walk them right into supporting candidates with grifter and pedophile tendencies.

We can't go back to standard operating procedure.

We now see how ineffective our justice system is and how weak our guardrails are.

We can't return to the status quo - and that means we as a country have to commit to doing difficult things. Without that commitment - there will be no reckoning.

that the people who were bleating the loudest about pedophiles and children being abused are silent, utterly silent as it turns out their idols (especially the ugly orange one) were the abusers and rapists all along.

That is wrong! I pledge allegiance to the Constitution

…with liberty and justice for all.

Seriously? That has NEVER been us!

America is a fixer upper.
Is it better to do a tear down and rebuild or can it be debugged? We are a computer with a virus.
Every line of our being needs to be chump proofed

Morally bankrupt convicted sex offenders should NEVER be cleared to run for anything!

Yet, here we are!

Excellent post. The reactions of other countries won't be enough to spur this corrupt, selfish, grasping administration into doing the right thing.

Individuals who are victims/survivors of physical/sexual/intimate partner abuse & human trafficking are feeling right now.

We're ALL in an abusive relationship with our government at the moment. It's this:

Against this:

And our side's not winning.

CHANGE MY MIND.

Comedian and Englishman, Rick Gervais, made comments about the Grammy winners and using their platform to protest the onslaught of the invasion forces by Trump. Basically telling all, you are just entertainers and that they need to pipe down at the awards ceremonies and stay in their respective lanes.
Gervais does not understand that the voices of the Grammy winners are a small voice of integrity that is left in this country. Unlike his homeland of England, who found out about Prince Andrew and Epstein, immediately responded by disposing of the prince and after this last batch of files dropped, kicked said prince out of his castle. Our small voices are all that is left of morality and dignity and our leadership has abandoned what we thought was the whole premise of our democracy. So I say to Gervais ,right back at you, stay in your lane
