My health insurance (Oscar) has gone up by 1200% and If the tax credit is taken away, it will go up by 6500% [View all]

I have been paying just $20 per month, using the ACA tax credit. For the same plan, it will cost $260 from January 1st. Without the tax credit, it will be just over $1300. I know that is a lot less than many are paying, but it is a 6500% increase.

I decided to go without insurance for now until my finances improve. I live in Georgia, and what I noticed yesterday is that when you sign up for a health plan, it shows the monthly premium, still with the tax credit. This is important because there may be millions of folk not prepared or even unaware of the massive price hikes coming in a few weeks.
