9. One of my work colleagues asked why he didn't just shoot him while he had the chance.

And there is a second or so where he had the room to do it. But being thrust into an unreal situation and with the adrenaline going, I totally get why he didn't. He deserves the Cross of Valour for what he did. We all like to think that's what we'd do, but in reality it's a rare person who hatd behave like him and the brick thrower.
