No mention on the hero..not within the hour that I listened

I have no idea why this happened, other than it did.

But there are plenty of talking heads on the media that are seeing things that may, or may not be there, to serve their own agenda.

Until they get the surviving shooter to talk, I have no opinion.

Americans should be experienced enough with mass shootings to know conjecture and finger pointing after the event serves no useful purpose.

The hero deserves all the praise and money people can give.

And there is a second or so where he had the room to do it. But being thrust into an unreal situation and with the adrenaline going, I totally get why he didn't. He deserves the Cross of Valour for what he did. We all like to think that's what we'd do, but in reality it's a rare person who hatd behave like him and the brick thrower.

There were a lot of brave people at Bondi on Sunday evening. I was cheering him on when I first saw the footage but realised later how much danger he was in, and heard this morning.he was shot a minute or so after he threw the brick at the son.

I don't know if he's actually Muslim. Apparently, he has an Arab name, and, at least statistically, he's likely to be Muslim. But he could also be Christian. I guess we'll find out.

But if he is Muslim, he can be an example for all of Islam. That they should stand up and fight their morons, their psychos, their arch conservative, homicidal, execrable lowlife. Purge them. Excommunicate them. Ostracize them. Turn them over to the authorities.

Pay less than zero attention to the sweetie pies of any ilk who want to accept fat-headed murderers on the grounds that they are "brown." Ostracize and decenter the sweetie pies too. Send them to the corner to pick up their dunce caps and suck their thumbs.

I saw a post on X where the Muslim community wanted nothing to do with the body of the piece of filth who committed these crimes. That's the way.

Its common knowledge. How reassuring it is to know he can be an example for all of Islam, who of course are busting to do a massacre or two, and aren't like him, who's a damn decent person, who in a terrible situation put his like n the line.

Tell me, do you talk the same way when atrocities are carried out by Christians or Jews? Or is it just Muslims?

Whenever an identity (sweetie pie loser lingo) is involved we have the issue of the psycho fringe, the monkey-brained cretins, the lowlife, spoiling the world. This hero stood in their way..

Unfortunately, it's always historically forced upon members of an identity group, regardless of what that group is, to disassociate, to make outcasts of its lowlife, to police its own. To purge them. To excommunicate them. Even, as necessary, to punish them. I assure you I don't care what that identity is.

Obviously, you're welcome to come up with examples to demonstrate whatever point of view you may have.
