11. Crime. Stick to the topic of crime.

Surely you and your acquaintance can agree that crime is bad. And if someone agrees that crime is bad, then it's impossible for them to justify elevating to power a criminal who:

Raised a mob to sack the U.S. Capitol, threaten the lives of our elected representatives and vice president, and mercilessly beat police officers - and then pardoned those vicious criminals as soon as he could.

Was convicted on 34 counts of election-related fraud.

Was caught on tape by an honest Republican secretary of state trying to bully state election officials into falsifying election results.

Was found in court to be liable for rape. (Rape, for God's sake! Forcible rape!) All of which lends much credence to the accusations of sexual assault from dozens of other women.

Stole state secrets and refused to return them.

This is only a partial list. Regardless of what policies a person favors, it is impossible for them to justify support of someone who has committed these crimes, and more. Unless they just lie their faces off and claim that none of the above crimes were committed, and are all just "fake". A "hoax". A "witch hunt". That's the way my MAGA brother-in-law handles it.
