12. It's not that racism isn't a big factor

But how its dynamics play out along with classism and sexism needs to be understood with more sophistication than we are doing as a society.
That’s where our beloved oligarchs come in.

I remember the part of Adam McKay’s “Don’t Look Up” where people are okay with the asteroid hitting since it will “lead to jobs”.

I also don’t want to cost someone a job in data etc if it is truly sustainable. But I am no Karen and if even I am feeling empathy fatigue, how can anything where so many selfish and belligerent who consider everything “toxic empathy” and “gullibility” fly?


And these creeps Sundar Pichai, Nadella etc are not white but they are creeps nonetheless and I don’t want an MTG or Matt Gaetz to be the one to point that out basically this movement first getting traction via the tech creeps and second using that with phony populism to grab everything left and attacking nonwhite people via their war of economic attrition or war on drugs etc.
