There are more than a few Republican Senators and House Reps who are secretly very, very relieved.
Too timid to vote their consciences, they can now breathe a sigh of relief in private, while expressing disappointment in public.
Dont get me wrong. This aint over yet. But they were all in a car going sixty that just ran over a railroad tie, and none of them were wearing seat belts. They may yet get there, but their initial progress just got yanked backwards. Trump will huff and puff, but at least this round, he did not blow the House down.
