... that I see with that course of action is that granting The South End of a Northbound Yak immunity, is, yet again, letting this sonofabitch escape accountability for his mountain of crimes. It would also mean that those who enabled him will walk away scot free as well, which opens the door for others to take up where he left off, knowing that a grotesquely corrupt judiciary will give them a Get Out Of Jail Free card, too. I think we – and especially the hardcore MAGAts – really need to know the depth and breadth of his treachery, and his sociopathic disregard for the victims of his mendacity and greed. I want there to be NO wiggle room for him to rehabilitate his already severely tarnished image. And ultimately, letting Trump get away with it tells the country, and the world, that the law is intended to protect oligarchs, and to punish their victims when they protest. That is intolerable.
The nation has suffered irreparable harm because of him, and to let him skate this time could turn out to be a monstrous mistake. The same goes for the conservatives on the SCOTUS. As much as they may think otherwise, they are NOT above the law, either.
