In reply to the discussion: Karine Jean-Pierre leaving the Democratic Party because of how they treated Biden [View all]HeartsCanHope
(1,539 posts)If she wants to write a book and tries to explain her point of view, again, that's her business. We can reject or support her according to our own opinions of her book, but to condemn her before reading her side is, I feel, uninformed. I like Bernie Sanders, he's an Independent. He had my vote in the primary against Hillary Clinton. When he lost I supported Hillary Clinton because i felt she was the best choice in the race against Trump. I support individual candidates, not just a party. I look carefully at all I can find on any candidate before I make a decision. I choose Democratic candidates because they are the best choice. At the risk of being flamed, the infighting, the inaction from some Democratic party members, and the way the Democratic party handled Joe having to step down has kept me from rejoining the Democratic party. I financially support individual candidates, all Democratic party members. I will NEVER support a Republican, but I consider myself now more of an Independent like Bernie. I will "caucus" with the Democratic Party and when things settle down will probably rejoin the party. Sorry if this hurts someone's feelings, but I think we need to not rush to judgment, and give Karine Jean-Pierre a chance.
