I have only voted for a Republican once in my life. That was Gerald Ford when I had an Al Gore moment and thought giving Richard Nixon a break would be “good for the country”. Dear god did I get that wrong. If Nixon had been jailed the entire history of this nation would have instantly changed for the better.

It’s all about precedent. The country got squeamish about real accountability for the powerful in ‘74 and Ford did what he was hired to do and pardoned the motherfucker. And I got squeamish too. I supported letting the son-of-a-bitch I hated with all my heart off to die well when he should have been chained to a presidential limo’s bumper and dragged through the streets of DC until there wasn’t a scrap of him left.

The Democrats totally got Biden wrong just like they got Al Franken wrong and Al Gore got fighting for the fucking future of the world wrong in Florida.

What a bunch of gutless wonders the Democrats are. But they’re the only decent people in the fight.

So, I’m with them until the very end. Because it’s the only way I can be.

Biden would have won. Harris did better than I ever believed she could, but, really she never had a chance.

You just can’t do what the Democrats did and expect to win. What a disgusting display of weakness that was.
