I have to say I agree with Karine Jean-Pierre. Regardless of whether people think Biden should have run or not run, the way the Democratic leaders of the party publicly shot him in the back was disgusting. Who wants to vote for a party that says they'll "fight for you" when they won't even fight for their own President?
This also put VP Harris behind the 8-ball and made things so much tougher for her. When leaders like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Adam Schiff say your President isn't competent and should stand down, where does that put Kamala Harris? She was Biden's VP! Now she has to spend time defending herself for working for a man whom her own party is saying wasn't competent. The Dem leaders tarnished the entire Administration by their public crucifixion of Joe. Such a catastrophically stupid political move, and shameful treatment of their own President, who worked so hard for all Americans.

Edited to NOTE: My point of this post is more along the lines of Karine Jean-Pierre's motivations not being Democratic policy, but the treatment of Joe Biden. Many (including myself) assumed she was jumping on the "Biden was incompetent" train. I don't think people are going to be influenced one way or the other by Karine Jean-Pierre's leaving the party. But I, for one, am glad to see someone so close to Biden publicly have his back. And, regardless of her motivations, the Democratic party does have a history of using the circular firing squad (Senator Al Franken). Maybe they'll learn from this.
