Something tells me there is more - much more - to the story than the way his husband is describing it. It is tragic that it ended this way but the whole thing sounds like a Joe Tiger series. The guy used to carry around a crossbow? Welfare checks by the police? How did the house burn down? They left the remains of their dogs on the burned property? Were they always screaming at each in public? Really, really weird and tragic stuff. No excuse to murder someone but it will be interesting to hear all the details come out.
