17. State Farm's ruthless tactics

Yes, the 3 D's are exactly correct. We are now in a fight with State Farm regarding damage to our roof. We have car and home insurance with State Farm and have for 30+ years. Initially, a representative inspected our roof and promised we would get what we thought was a fair amount to cover the damage. Then, they sent another person out to inspect again and said we would get nothing. We are now considering a lawsuit. Not really sure what to do. Do we change insurance companies? Maybe, AAA? It's really frustrating!
