General Discussion

Sounds really sinister, doesn't it? But are we really and truly going to let our democracy of 250 years be destroyed by an insane, reality television star? That's the real question.

So, I don't know how this is going to play out. It may very well be that it's too late and we are doomed. But I am hoping that SOMEONE does something. There are a lot of smart people in this world - lawyers and scholars and military commanders - who know a lot more about this than I (nor anyone on an internet message board) could ever presume to know. Dare I hope? I don't know.

The 25th Amendment is in the Constitution for a reason. Maybe someone, somewhere, sometime could get a little "creative".

Forgive me - in all seriousness - for daring to hope that my country and my way of life continue - because at this rate, with this crazy idiot in charge, it most assuredly will not.
