General Discussion

Ukrainians should be our North Star in what resistance really looks like. Not advocating importing all-out war to the US but the grit and Ukrainian determination to remain free is nothing short of stellar.

Ukraine was given no chance in this fight at the beginning. The three-week invasion/capitulation that Putin predicted has stretched out to three years of steady push back. In actuality, the war started in 2014 when Putin seize Crimea and sent paramilitaries into eastern Donbas.

The future of Ukraine is uncertain but the country is still standing, still fighting and sacrificing to claim its sovereignty and right to exist.

Once we turn the ugly page on our own current political chaos, I certainly hope we turn back to Ukraine because they have proven themselves (a thousand times over) as the sort of ally we should want and admire.
