AARP [View all]

I noticed the other day that a lot of folks do not like AARP. I find their publications very informative. I get a phone bill AARP discout using Consumer Cellular. I get a big break on car insurance using The Hartford. I don't use AARP for my health insurance. I get BCBS of Michigan PPO Medicare Advantage. Reading the previous comments, many folks buy supplemental insurance instead of using a Medicare Advantage plan. Good for them. Seeing how much folks pay is not what many folks can afford. The price is way too high for many of us. All I see are attacks, with no understanding of why folks pick what is best for them. Sad.

+1. And AARP does write some "strongly worded letters" at times in suppor of Social Security, Medicare, etc. Silent Type Jun 2025 #3
I have had no problem with AARP, and there is absolutely no reason for me to discard my membership. JohnSJ Jun 2025 #4
