7. You are aware that United Airlines, at least, is giving free flight changes through at least May 23, right?

If you booked your flight after May 6, you can switch flights for free (including a waiver of price increases). It's not like this is some secret - nor is it like this is a new problem.

It has been made worse with DOGE cuts to FAA, but the aging air traffic control system has been an issue for a long time, as has the shortage of air traffic controllers since the last systematic cut.

Newark is a particular problem. I have a flight through there almost exactly a month from now - and as soon as they open the opportunity to change flights to go through another airport I will - rather than risk a landing and takeoff from Newark.
