I am not familiar with different color requirements for all of the different funerals really. I have not been to many. I went to two wakes, sort of wakes, of a friend and a friend's mil, I don't remember what people wore to be honest. I don't remember what I wore then to either, lol.

I just wear darker colors at funerals. I went to my friend's funeral in a Jewish funeral house 2 years ago and I think not everyone was dressed in dark colors, it was in August. I think I wore an olive greenish outfit for my grandmother's funeral which was in a Canadian synagogue. No one really said much about what to wear. I also went to a former boss' funeral in a huge synagogue ceremony. Again, I wore something dark etc. My grandmother's funeral was huge too, the ceremony part. Less people go to the burial.

I'm glad I am not the only one who saw B's suit was dark navy blue 😁 I think someone said wearing blue would be a sign of respect for the Madonna which I know from my art history etc.- she is always depicted in a blue robe/dress so people know who she is... most of the time she wears a pink/red dress and a blue robe/cloak.
