How often does your family eat chicken? Have you read the ingredients in you dog's kibble? Chicken for the table and chicken meal for pet food will increase costs considerable. Then, when chicken prices go up, other meats will go up.
Oh, and the price of lentils has increase a lot lately.
Want protein? Pretty soon you won't be able to afford it, unless you eat republicans.

Grammar quibble: "FEWER", not "less" -- if you can individually count an item (i.e., chickens), it's "fewer".
